Directions for installing the Bath Lav drain gasket:

Install drain set according to manufacturer’s instructions, using the proper ProSeal gasket in place of putty. Note: Due to the Deep Molding of Some Cast Iron and Corian Sink Drains, Two ProSeal Gaskets May Be Needed.

  1. Peel off adhesive backing on gasket.
  2. Apply gasket, adhesive-side-down, onto underside of strainer flange, centering gasket.
  3. Press firmly to fix gasket in place.
  4. Complete installation of drain set. NOTE: If strainer needs to be rotated during installation, apply small amount of plumbers grease on gasket to prevent friction. For cold weather installations, warm strainer to room temperature prior to applying gasket.
