Directions for installing the Tub & Shower drain gasket:

Install drain set according to manufacturer’s instructions, using the proper ProSeal gasket in place of putty. Note: For Cast Iron Installations, Use Two ProSeal Gaskets.

  1. Peel off adhesive backing on gasket.
  2. Apply gasket, adhesive-side-down, onto underside of strainer flange, centering gasket.
  3. Press firmly to fix gasket in place.
  4. Complete installation of drain set. NOTE: If strainer needs to be rotated during installation, apply small amount of plumbers grease on gasket to prevent friction. For cold weather installations, warm strainer to room temperature prior to applying gasket.
